Whilst most forms of greeting and acknowlegment are acceptable, the following are regarded as standard use;
​
(i) Initial Greeting - Hello or Hi
(ii) Parting Greeting - Good Day, Good Night or Good Bye
​
Whilst an acknowledgement following an initial greeting is regarded as the norm - normal / standard - this is not absolutely necessary. A failure to acknowledge a greeting should not necessarily be considered 'impolite' - as the circumstances may vary depending upon the situation. There can be no consequences for any failure and / or breach of the above, since these are regarded as simply 'acts of politeness.' However it should be noted, that a 'well-mannered,' 'good mannered,' 'polite' approach to all communications is recommended and regarded as customary throughout the SOTI Cosmos / Universe - Multiverses... It therefore follows, that all forms of abuse, are regarded as not being in keeping with the above.
