COMMENTARY

This short yet witty aphorism is actually a sarcastic comment on the 'modern Mind,' with its fixation on old, safe and fixed ideas.
It depicts the condition of 'modern society' and Human Consciousness' current position within it - as it knowingly or unknowingly makes its way along its trajectory path of its 'Evolution.'

What am I referring to?

The current 'rat race system' -
The 'hamster on the wheel' -
Meanwhile, the next evolutionary step for Human Consciousness (the 'New Paradigm,') requires the individual to 'transcend' the 'mundane' - the 'Old Paradigm.'
'Transcend' the old Life - which has now been reduced to the endless pursuit of 'commodities fetishism' - a 'slavish mentality' - and bill paying.

I believe that the next evolutionary step will bring Human Consciousness into the 'New Paradigm' - but what will it look like beyond the bills?
