COMMENTARY
​
Selfishness is treated as an element / energy in accordance with The Science Of Abstract Consciousness and thus in this abstracted form - line 1 - “One selfishness leads to another.”
It is said one day that the Teacher was at a feast. The feast table was abundantly arrayed with food and displayed roast pork, wild beast and boar - and all matter of fowls - pigeons, swan, starlings, ducks and geese - other delicacies and quality fine wine. The Teacher remarked - “it is cold” and a still silence emerged.

Present at the feast was a Student, who whilst gorging - his mouth half full - pointed towards the nearby livery room, stating - “Master your cloak - it is in there!”
​
The Teacher rose, approached the Student - then took the Student’s cloak and said - “One selfishness leads to another.”
