COMMENTARY

This is a 'play' on a very simply nursery rhyme the author learnt as a child called 'Peter Piper Picks' and it runs as follows -
"Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?"

SOTI Aphorisms are often based on an established 'concept' or an idea, be it 'structure' or 'content.' In this case, it is the P first letter of the word which characterises this aphorism - which is joyfully played with, in a serious assessment of the aphorism style. This aphorism also exemplifies the 'one-worder tradition' created by SOTI - a device used to concentrate powerful concepts, in a word, the idea being to multiply its power exponentially with each word, with the final word being an acclamation of intent.
